GBRoom was warm and comfortable...bathroom neat and clean. As we were travelling with a dog, it's nice to have direct, outside access for any midnight toilet breaks. We could also have our evening meal with him and the room was just a short distance from the pub. The bar had a relaxed atmosphere and the food and breakfast were excellent and good value.

Rooms were cold on arrival and took a long time to warm up.
GBThe food in the pub was reasonable and reasonably priced. The barman was welcoming and helpful.
Room was absolutely freezing. On arrival heating was not on / was very low and the windows were open you could literally see your breath in the air. Turned heating as high as it would go and shut windows (as well as I could as latch was broken) room never got warm and got very little sleep. The final time the cold woke me up at 4.50am and I could still see my breath on the air was enough. Hot'ish shower and fully dressed to try and see the rest of the morning out without freezing to death before it was time to leave / meet up with a colleague.

Could only get BBC 1 on TV but didn't bother me. Storm Claudia caused some water getting under door into room but rain was torrential
