The Queens Inn

Breakfast was plentiful. A full English breakfast was offered or a selection of bread, rolls, coffee/tea, meat and cheeses, etc. a nice place for one night. There are steps up to rooms because it was over a pub, but the owners carried our bags up for us. Nice owners.

Ein ordentliches Pub mit Fremdenzimmern, wie man das in Großbritannien erwartet. Großer Parkplatz, freundliches Personal, guter Cider. Angenehmer Gastgarten und authentisches Ambiente. Ein, allerdings sehr britischer Supermarkt in Sichtweite.

Für den aufgerufenen Preis würde man einen etwas leichteren Aufstieg zu den Zimmern erwarten. Die verwinkelten Gänge und steilen Stiegen entsprechen jedenfalls keiner Bauordnung, die man in Mitteleuropa kennt. Am Ruhetag des Pubs bleibt man durstig.

The road noise was so loud we slept very poorly

Location was great! Easy to walk to interesting places. Also the bus stop is nearby and very easy to use. Everyone is very friendly & helpful. I am lactose free , I asked in advance and they were happy to provide me with the correct milk at breakfast time. We ate at the hotel in the evening and the food was excellent.

The staff were so friendly, efficient and and helpful. Breakfast was very good whilst the evening dinner was, from an exstensive menu, excellent on each occasion Our bedroom was large, well equipped, and very comfortable. Spacious vehicle parking was pleasing and a frequent passing bus service was very useful. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay.
