The Queens Inn

The owner was exceptionally helpful when we had to amend our travelling schedule. This was-far beyond what we would have expected. The Inn is ideally located for hikers.

Rooms were lovely, very spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Food was delicious.

I don't like giving bad reviews and to be honest in a normal financial situation I am sure this establishment wouldn't have to charge what they do , not the fault of the place but definitely not worth paying £150 a night as of many places. Hospitality wonderful though, can't fault them and the rooms are spotless.

Traffic noisy, stairway and rooms smell damp and dated. Rooms are dated and the beds are a bit uncomfortable. Not enough tea & coffee in the room , only enough for 1 drink each. £150 night is just over the top like many establishments , although the financial situation leaves businesses in this situation. Service charge for food, an absolute no after what I'd just paid to stay 2 nights, your job is to serve food and that's why I eat out, otherwise id of eaten from Morrisons ,why should I be charged extra without me being asked if I agree to this, I was fuming when I left , I thought it was curtious of us to dine in the hotel, we even waited until 6pm to do so.

im Not a Person for Booking a Hotel above a pub but I was Really surprised When entering the Premises how friendly and Warm it fell Room I was given was Big / Clean /and Had a Comfy big Bead & a Nice big TV the Bathroom was Big with with a nice bath & shower which always had hot water
