"Excellent"

A pleasant stay in a charming and well-maintained historic building. Professional staff. Huge room with an absolutely regal four-poster bed. Freestanding bathtub with a separate modern-style shower, creating a very pleasant contrast. Excellent dinner and breakfast.

The only downside is the lack of cleanliness. The hidden shelves in the room (for example, the wall above the tub) accumulated dust. This isn't just a hygiene issue, but also a potential allergy risk for a guest. Otherwise, the rating would definitely have been higher.

"A great find if you want to be near Oxford and river walks on your doorstep."

Loved it. Staff very attentive. Small pub with lots of high quality rooms. Great value for money with river walks and 15 mins to Oxford park and ride. Good breakfast and pubby food offer in the evening.

"Manager was super helpful, all staff were polite and helpful, excellent base for walkers in pretty countryside."
