The room was excellent only a small snag had no chest of drawers. The staff are great and the food was lovely. Lovely quiet village location but easy to get everywhere.

Nothing to dislike.

The location was perfect for our needs. We are walking the Thames Path. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and freshly cooked. Dorchester is a lovely place.

Quaint old pub. Full of history. Great cask ales which were enjoyed out the back in the sun. Excellent food. It was a special occasion so I booked the Oak Room. This bedroom is something else!!!

I had booked 4 Rooms for an overnight stop on Reading to Oxford walk with friends and everyone felt it was great experience and are planning come back with their partners. Excellent accommodation with thoughtful touched on a par with much more expensive Boutique hotels. High quality restaurant and exemplary service and delicious well priced food. Great atmosphere in the pub. Thank you Aaron, Alex and all the team for making it a memorable stay. Look forward to coming back.

"Lovely location and easy commute into Oxford"

Very quirky. Immaculately clean and great facilities. The breakfast was very good quality and piping hot.

Evening meal service was disorganised. The bar manager is also the receptionist and it’s too busy to do both jobs. Wish I’d known the suite had 2 bedrooms I wouldn’t have booked 2 rooms

Not only was the breakfast extremely good but we both had calves ‘ liver and bacon for dinner which was one of the nicest ones we have tasted!
