Murray Arms Hotel and Seafood Restaurant, Orkney

Clean and great location for touring Orkney. Bar and restaurant cosy and welcoming. Food was excellent but surprising that they don’t offer a “Scottish” breakfast.

Accommodation adequate and although fresh, feels dated.

The staff was really nice nad welcoming they allowed us to have a later dinner. Breakfast was fantastic and dinner too. The hotel is literally 2 minutes from the ferry harbour. We would love to be there again

The car parking was really small and there was no room for all the guests and unfortunately the first night we had not a duvet therefore we were cold. We did not realize that we could ask for it, so we cannot blame the Hotel.

Lovely welcome by Suzanne who looked after me so well for the whole stay. A delightful small hotel with incredible food, especially the local seafood. Thank you.

This hotel was only 5 minute from the ferry. They have a restaurant for lunch and dinner and will provide a to go breakfast if you have to get up before they start breakfast to get to the ferry. Everyone was super nice and the rooms were clean. It was very nice to have an en-suite bathroom!

The parking situation was a bit confusing but we asked where to park and they told us and it all worked out!

Pleasant small hotel close to ferry terminal in St Margaret's Hope. Parking just outside, good wifi. Very welcoming and helping staff. Clean and nice rooms, comfortable. Very good fish restaurant with a great atmosphere and amazing food. We were unable to leave the island due to cancelled ferries and bad weather, so staying here helped us to like Orkneys despite the fact that we had to stay 5 nights instead 2.

Loved the area , the staff and everyone were so welcoming and Tasha my dog got spoiled rotten even having her own breakfast while we eat ours of scrambled eggs and salmon. The food was delicious every meal that we had

Excellent location, nice room and a really nice breakfast 👌 Didn't eat in the restaurant as arrived late but the looked amazing 😋
