We had breakfast very early which was great. Only thing was not homemade pancakes back would have been better.

We stopped at the Brownlow Arms Inn for the night on our way from London to Newcastle. Our room was really big and comfortable, and the bathroom was really nice. We had dinner on the evening we arrived and the food was simply divine. Breakfast the next morning was also wonderful. All the staff were very, very friendly and welcoming - we really would have loved to stay and just relax, so we're going to have to swing by on our next trip through those parts.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation with all needs provided. Welcoming and friendly staff. Exceptionally good evening meal.

Beautiful old building with an excellent restaurant

Outstanding hospitality. Had an event at the showground in Newark. Only a 18 min drive (absolutely worth it for the increased quality of accommodation in comparison with closer hotels) The manager very kindly allowed me an early check in so I could freshen up. The room had everything I needed and more (robe, iron, quality hairdryer). Breakfast was also outstanding and excellent value.

Beautiful decor, very comfortable rooms. Food in the restaurant was excellent but overall the customer service was best in class!
