The staff, in particular Lorraine, was so helpful and all very professional. The food was of excellent quality and value for money. Breakfast was also good. The deluxe room was spacious and the location worked well for visiting a number of National Trust properties.

Very friendly and helpful staff, attractive building and communal areas. Surrounding small village was attractive and worth a little wander. Good breakfast, freshly cooked. Enjoyable dinner. Pleasant room and excellent choice of drinks to make in the room. Small fridge with fresh milk v thoughtful. Overall a good overnight stay for us.

All minor but hopefully helpful to know: The step down to the bathroom was a bit tricky in the night. Bed quite firm. Some noise from a nearby room (TV I think) woke me in the night.
