Modern, Luxurious and Prime location All in One

The room was very nice

Bad part of downtown with homeless on the streets. Need to improve on security. No elevators. Stairs are intense. High cost for parking. More of a hostel feeling

Light and airy property in good location near to Balboa Park.

9F is on the 4th level and no elevator, but on the plus side has amazing views and bbq area across. Recommended!

Lovely apartment. Great first impressions as soon as we walked in. Very large and comfy bed. Really spacious room. Shame about the herd of elephants staying in the room above us. Location was good. Few homeless around but didn’t bother anyone. Right next to Balboa Park. Managed to park for free close to the apartment but beware of the palm trees!

The place is very clean and a 20 minute walk to the entrance of Balboa park. Didn't have any problems with the noise from airplanes.

The mattress could be firmer and the checkin instructions didn't arrive in time.

The bed was very comfortable, location near gaslamp is good. Room was clean with little free amenities which was nice. Owner was quick to respond to the one question I had.

The room had a strong smell of cleaner when we entered that we had to air out for a while. The room has no curtains so no sleeping in. The room will be bright by 8 in the morning. You can kinda hear people in other rooms. The room is on the 3rd floor with no elevator so get ready if you have heavy luggage. Check out is at 10 when most places have 11 and in the morning that hour matters. Parking can be an issue but not too bad if you time it well. Shower water was nice and hot but low pressure.

Good location, comfortable bed. The bed pillows were two big for me, more likely suitable for a big man, with big shoulders. I had to get a massage to get the neck kinks out! This place is billed as "luxurious". I wish I had taken some pictures. There were holes in the wall that were plugged with toilet paper. The batteries in the TV remote were dead, needed replacing. The hairdryer didn't work. The safety deposit box could not be opened. Some of the slats of the window coverings were broken. Perhaps the owners have a different definition of luxurious. I would say the room was sufficient for the price paid. The room had a coffee maker, a small one that makes 2 or 3 cups. But the coffee filters were those for a 12 cup coffee pot. Likewise, the owners purchased Kirkland coffee in packages for a 12 cup coffee pot. That is not luxurious to me! It shows me that there is no eye for detail, hence "luxurious" does not enter into the conversation. On the other hand, one of the owners offered to call Uber for me, that was considerate.

Nothing. The outside of the property was littered with trash, and there were homeless men hanging out by the front door. The good reviews are obviously fake.

The listing neglected to say that I would have to climb four flights of stairs to reach my room. I have a disability and could not make that climb. The staff rudely told me that was "too bad," and that I could not cancel.

Warning! It’s a very bad neighborhood! No idea why nobody mentioned in previous reviews that this property is surrounded by homeless and drug addicts! We got attached by a homeless person on the way to Balboa Park which is across the street. It totally ruined our experience in San Diego!
