Modern, Luxurious and Prime location All in One

Location was handy to everything but without transport luckily we were able to walk to downtown as it was a bit further than thought. However 5 minutes to airport. Our room was beautiful and security made us feel comfortable. When we arrived we were grateful for help with bags to our room on 3 rd floor. All staff very helpful.

The room itself was clean and well maintained, and amenities were good.

The noise insulation in the place was one of the worst I've experienced. I could hear every step of the guests in the room above me and every time they dropped something, like a spoon. Even with earplugs it was hard to drown out the noise that penetrated through the walls and floor.

It was a small studio. Bed was comfortable. Lots of windows and natural light the owners supply guests with water, dispisable ear buds (it's very noisy complex) and disposable tooth brushes...all nice touches.

I tried reaching out to the property manager owner 3 different times with no response. They blamed it on a "glitch" with booking.com which has never been an issue. It also showed on booking.com site that my messages were delivered. I believe they chose to ignore my questions and requests. I am disabled and stairs are not easy for me. This was a nightmare to walk up to with a set of stairs leading to the first entrance and then 4 flights of stairs with no elevator. Try climbing up and down a flight of stairs with a big suitcase!!! Then after asking for late check out (they ridiculously asked to check out at 10 am) I had someone open up the door on me at 10:05 am when I was in the process of getting dressed!!! The noise between walls is pretty thin and could hear my neighbor from above stomping on the ceiling. Until about 1 am. I would NEVER stay here again. If you don't mind noise, are healthy enough to lug your luggage up 4 flights of stairs and not care if you don't hear from your owner...then maybe this place would work for you.

Bed. Not too soft. Very comfortable Clean thoughout. TV had streaming accounts logged in (dont know if on purpose or in error, but came in handy!) Water: Hot! Quiet! Bright Parking: free!

Steps. A bummer with a large suitcase. It is what it is though. Install a solution to keep the shower curtain up. It was very flimsy and kept falling. Theres a $10 gadget on amazon that stucks to the wall and supports the shower curtain ends. Try that.

It was conveniently located to Balboa Park and downtown for walking.

The room was noisy. You could hear neighbours in the stairwell and every step of the neighbours above us: coming in late at night.There is also a nightclub nearby that you could hear the pounding beat well past midnight. Some have commented about the planes flying over but that was not an issue. if you are looking for a place that is nice and quiet, it is not. We stayed three nights but were only given coffee for two days and tea for a day. As well the complimentary body gel in the shower was empty and we were only given a tiny bar of soap for the three days. The bottled water was nice in the fridge but again not provided other than for one day. I had to approach the housekeeping staff for more tea, water and soap. They did not service our room at all. This was described as an inn, but it was not. it was an apartment building with renovated rooms for guests. We paid extra for housekeeping and parking.

Great place to stay. Great building security.

Sofa bed was uncomfortable to sleep on.
