One Bedroom Apartment with San Diego Downtown View

We managed to secure free parking outside the apartment, which was slightly up the road but still visible from the apartment! The bed was comfy and clean. The laundry facilities were reasonably priced ($2 for washing and $1.50 for tumble drying); however you need to bring your own detergent. The location of the apartment is very central, right next to the Balboa Park.

The floors were slightly dirty, but we brought our own slippers so it was okay.

The apartment was clean, modern, cheerful and bright and entry by code was simple. There are sockets and lights beside the bed. The kitchen has minimal equipment but ypu can make coffee and there's a sink, microwave and fridge, which is very handy. Location is equally convenient for Little Italy, Balboa Park and the Gaslamp area all within a 15 to 20 minute walk although there are hills on the return from the first two. The aircraft flying overhead presented no noise issues for me, but earplugs are supplied should you need them. It's kind of cool to watch them fly close by frankly.

When check out is at 10am, there is really no excuse for my room not being available at the 3pm check in time. Was told it would be another 40 minutes, so I left and went downtown when I really needed to rest. The bed in my room 7C sloped slightly on one side and the sofa cushions just sank down when you sat in them so I used the armchair. .

La ubicación. El barrio sucio y se sentía poco seguro. Mucho homeless y droga en la calle La propiedad estaba sucia y mal mantenida No tiene buenas cortinas por lo tanto oscurecer para dormir era imposible (en California el estado del sol!) Nos dijeron que era un primer piso y era un segundo piso sin ascensor Escribí todo esto al administrador de la propiedad y solo me llegó una respuesta automática. nunca leyó ni respondió El ruido de los aviones por la cercanía con el aeropuerto es muy alto a partir de las 6 am no hay paz. Hecho no menor que debería ser informado previamente al inquilino

The property is in a very bad area - it reminds me of skid row in LA. Homeless people camped in tents across the street from the building, graffiti everywhere. We did not feel safe in the area.
