One Bedroom Apartment with San Diego Downtown View

Location was amazing

You can hear EVERYTHING, hallway stairs, people talking , footsteps, tv, having sex… heard it all. Earplugs provided but still heard it all

The unit was clean, bright, and comfortable. It has a small fridge, microwave, and sink. There is an iron and ironing board in the wardrobe. The couch has a fold-out bed which, although probably not the most comfortable to sleep, it's fun to lay there and watch a movie. The unit had multiple windows which allowed plenty of natural light, which I loved. The location is right across the street from Balboa Park, and 1 block away from a CVS. It's also 1 mile away from the heart of the Gaslamp district. I had a very pleasant stay.

The unit is on the 3rd level, which is actually 4 floors off the ground, so be prepared to carry your luggage up a few flights of stairs. Other than that, it was good. Bear in mind that it's near the airport so you'll hear planes landing every 5 minutes all day long (I didn't mind at all). They actually provided earplugs near the bed in case the noise keeps you up. Also bear in mind that, after the 10am check-out time, they can only store your bags in the office until they close at 4pm. I needed my bags stored until 7 so I ended up paying for a separate bag storage service.

The studio was clean and set up well.

The area did not feel completely safe. On our first night there we came back to find people screaming and fighting in a stairwell. On our third and final night we were awake the entire night due to constant heavy footsteps and voices in the unit above ours, and traffic up and down the stairs literally all night long. We were very concerned as to what was going on, as it’s hard to imagine what type of activity would require moving back and forth in a small studio apartment.

Unit directly across the street from Balboa Park.

If you can’t block out the sound of planes flying overhead as they approach SD airport, this place may not be for you. If you are vacationing you probably will be out and about most of the day and night and it shouldn’t be a problem.

Very comfortable bed, modern feel, decent views. Clean room as well. Was missing a couple amenities I'd like to have however overall was a pleasant stay. Parking in a secure parking garage avaliable for an additional $20 per night

There are 3 different codes for the property, you either have to try to remember them or keep pulling out your phone every time you have to re enter.

What’s not to like I’m planning on staying there again

I liked professional, helpful, room size, cleanness, kitchen with microwave. and two bottles of water. Exceeded my expectations.

Location is all right if there are no homeless people from the trolley station to the apartment while I am walking. I didn't feel the safe.
