One Bedroom Apartment with San Diego Downtown View

It was a nice airbnb experience. The entire building is managed by the same management company, there are "towers" hosting 1 unit per floor. The apt was well equipped, clean (not the cleanest but it was fine), and even though it was a studio, the bedroom are was semi separated which was great. We had a good view on the SD skyline (though it was luck). Neighborhood was OK, not good, not bad. Balboa park close by, but there were a few (harmless) homeless people around due to the close proximity of the nearby CVS. Walking is 15 -25 mins to little italy and downtown gaslamp. Keeping in mind that walking involves crossing a highway bridge whatever direction towards the city, meaning homeless encampments. There is a nice burger place and an even better taco place 5 mins walk. Comfortable beds. Good price for value. It's in an airplane route so planes fly by time by time, but was not an issue, the windows are keeping the noise out and it's not that often.

Parking was very expensive. The entire building is made of paper. Doors, walls, floors, everything is paper thin and lowest quality. Sadly we had an upstairs neighbor for the entire 6 night who woke up at 4am, started doing stuff and left around 5:30am. This means we were up for the 6 nights from 4am.

The location was great, It had tons of places within walking distance and we loved watching the planes from the room.

There weren't many places to park at the facility that were free.

I like the proximity to the convention center where I was attending a conference. There is plenty of free parking along the street. You are in the line of the airport landing flights, but they provide earplugs which made all outside noises fade away. Great value overall.

I was on the 3rd floor which essentially means the 4th floor. There are no elevators and the stairs are fairly narrow. It made carrying my heavy luggage a bit of a chore. It was manageable and I still enjoyed my apartment.

Very quiet and well laid out spacious and comfy clean apartment. Parfect location for Zoo and downtown.Staff very helpful when needed.

It's a sad thing but there are a lot of homeless alcoholics and drug addicts in downtown San Diego. I emphasize they were no trouble, and the building supervisor said they never were. I didn't mind, but it unsettled my partner a bit, as they are living in tents on the pavement. And it's not just in this area. A social issue that needs to be addressed by the City, and no fault on the excellent facility here.

The property was exactly as shown in pictures. The location is good; it's close to the Balboa Park and you have a CVS across the street in case you need to buy a few basic stuff. The place was clean, the area was spacious and it had everything that is mentioned on the description. We didn't experience any problem with noise nor we ever felt unsafe. Would definitely recommend this place!

Great location. Easy walking to Little Italy, downtown and Balboa park. Loved the little balcony.Anytime I had a question or needed anything, they were quick to respond and take care of it!

Shower wasn't great, location didn't feel too safe, on direct flight path,

Breakfast NOT provided, location was in a poorer section of San Diego, but it was okay. We didn't feel threatened.

Stains on the sofa and chair in living room. The many locks to get into the room was a little disconcerting; i.e. outside gate, hallway, then the room. Many doors to unlock before you actually get into the room was annoying and time-consuming; we had to use 2 different codes for 3 entrances. But then our room on bottom floor had a back door, so just started using that and it was much easier to get into our room.
