Misty Mountain Lodge

It was well centered to downtown and walking distance to everything. The room was cute, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was helpful.

There was nothing that we didn't like about the place.

Old building refurbished. Doors would stick and make loud noises when closing & opening so would wake everyone. Towels were white but some were dingy and looked dirty. Near a busy street under construction with loud machinery under our window starting at 8a. The couple checking us in were rough and unfriendly. Felt that typical condescending given as a minority.

Staff/Manager were very friendly and helpful. Proactive message about getting a timed entry permit to RMNP was very helpful to plan ahead. As advertised Great location close to restaurants, shops and short drive away from RMNP

Room was very dusty and dirty. Seemed expensive but not worth it. Mostly for the location I think. Construction going on in the one way road right next to the property made it noisy, difficult to get to. This should be mentioned as an update on their posting.

Misty Mountain Lodge was a great place to stay. Other than that, they cabin was clean and cute. The staff was awesome. The location was awesome and will be even better once that construction is done! I would for sure stay at Misty Mountain Lodge again and would recommend to friends!

They only complaint I have is that the beds in one of our rooms were not that comfortable. They were kind of on a tilt and so my son fell out of the bed multiple times.

The staff was wonderful and so kind to us, the bedrooms were very cozy as well.

The property is right in front of major on going road construction that is very loud and takes away from the beautiful scenery and I know this isn’t the properties fault, but it is something we wish we had been aware of prior to booking.

Proximity to downtown Estes Park - we walked there daily to shop and eat. Having a small kitchen - we were able to eat meals and used the oven / stove / microwave / coffee maker and toaster. Saved us money which allowed us to have nicer dinners out. One bedroom apartment feel was nice - allowed us to play games / do puzzles / watch tv and be self contained. We stayed plenty warm in the room even though the week we were there was below freezing and below 0 every night. Didn't even need the fireplace in the room, but were happy to have the option if needed. Note the fireplaces are wood burning.

There were some minor things. Needed a hot pad in the kitchen for when we used the oven - we used a hand towel and were fine. A place to hang hand towels in the bathroom. They are in the process of renovating the rooms so our room was recently done so try to stay in one of those if able.
