Good location for Ely. Breakfast basic but OK.

Our room (room 4) had an infestation of clothes moths - we found live ones on the walls and dead ones on the bedding, and towels. The room had not been cleaned very well as there were dead moths on the carpet (especially in the corners), behind the bedside cabinets, on and under the chair, under the window and behind the curtains. Informed a member of staff who told me that she had not seen moths in that room - however the carpet was moth eaten in places so this must have been going on for some time. The toilet roll was black with mould! (see image) Bathroom in poor state of repair with shabby tiles, a loose bath panel, damp and mouldy window ledge. The whole place has seen better days which is a shame.

Looked a bit tired

The room was small but adequate. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were friendly.

It's a pity that there are no reception staff. I appreciate that this is to save money but I think an important aspect of customer care is sacrificed.

Very easy to access. Excellent location only a short walk into the city. Good car parking. Very clean and the staff were lovely. Good breakfast.

Mattress too soft but that’s personal preference. We would have likes a small fridge.

Good car park with EV charging. Comfortable bed. We never have a cooked breakfast but it would have been good to have a muesli and or some fruit.

Bathroom facilities were poor. No shelf, no hooks, toilet had a poor flush.
