spacious room with private terrace, beautiful view of nature, delicious breakfast, the staff made a lot of effort, it was very clean

location a little out of the way, breakfast tended to be a little too expensive (but very tasty and lots to eat)

We had a brilliant stay in Lavendra Paradise. The views from our room were amazing, we loved sitting out the front with a beer (in a lovely cold glass they provided)! It was a 10 minute walk into Ella town and it was very easy to grab a tuktuk if we didn’t want to walk. The room was very comfortable with good AC!

Such a beautiful, beautiful property with a STUNNING view. Wonderful breakfast as well. Shan, the owner, is extremely gracious and hospitable. I look forward to staying here again.

I loved staying here! I feel so lucky to have found and chosen this place. It was away from the main road, so nice and quiet, which was my goal. If you’re like me and you are able to/enjoy walking and being active, it’s a very simple walk to town with some hills. The view was incredible, so peaceful, you can see a waterfall! The breakfast served was HUGE and delicious, and it was as incredible to enjoy the view while stuffing yourself. A/C worked great, bed was comfortable. Transportation was arranged for me a couple of times. Staying here was a major highlight to my trip!

Wonderful view with friendly staff. Loved the breakfasts! Location is all good, Ella is walking distance but the location is quiet and peaceful.

Everything! …from the amazing view and peace and quiet from your clean and spacious room, its 10 minute walk to town (but on-site Tuk Tuk available), chef level warm and delicious Sri-Lankan breakfasts, and the laundry service (reasonable charge). We emphasize the warmth and kind hospitality of the owner Shan and his wife, Tharuka, and staff Isuru. Shan was readily available to take and guide us to all the sites and the charges are reasonable.

excellent views from accommodation. clean and spacious room. staff are very helpful and kind. the tuk tuk trips the owner arranged were excellent. appreciate the help at train station too. highly recommend this accommodation

The staff were fantastic, and the breakfast was incredible! Accommodating in every way - couldn't ask for more. The view was breathtaking, a brilliant place to stay in Ella that's close enough to walk to town, but far enough to not feel that everyone's on top of you. Perfect!

Absolutely nothing!

Large, clean, comfortable room in a quiet location about a 10 minute walk from the main village. Stunning view of the waterfall. A nice place to sit and relax away from the bustle of Ella. There is a laundry service and the owner himself drove us to Mirissa for a reasonable fee. Good, substantial breakfast.

Nothing really. The road into Ella is busy so care needs taking when walking and take a torch at night.
