Lavendra Paradise

The location was great and the view from the terrace was stunning. The property was clean and had everything we needed and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. The owner gave us a lift in his tuk tuk whenever we wanted one and he also took us around the sights of Ella.

Great view looking over Ella Rock and a waterfall. Breakfast is served up on the balcony, and the breakfast was delicious. We stayed two days and had something different each day - delicious. Room was very clean and large, a/c worked well and there was hot water in the shower. Shan the host has a tuk tuk to take you to town, the laundry service offered was excellent. And Lakmal was always on hand to offer us another beer after a long day of walking to Ella Rock and Nine Arch Bridge :-)

Beautiful property with a view of the mountains & waterfall. The staff were very friendly and helpful providing excellent recommendations for dinner and assisted with transport around Ella. I will definitely come and stay longer next time!

Tucked around the corner from town, it's a little haven overlooking the mountains and waterfall. It was very clean and the staff were lovely. Short walk into town (10 minutes or so).

One small suggestion; add a light for the driveway as there's a dark spot when walking that could make it easier to navigate at night.

We had the perfect stay at Lavendra Paradise. The property is a short walk from the lively Ella and the hill is a little steep coming up but easily managed for a young couple. Our room was very comfortable and clean, plenty of space and amenities. The porch area looking on to the mountains was the perfect spot to relax and was perfectly sheltered when there was a downpour of rain so we still got to enjoy being outside. The breakfast was our best in Sri Lanka - Shan's wife cut no corners in preparing a fresh, Sri Lankan breakfast for us each day and when we had a very early check out on our last morning even prepared us a delicious meal to take away with us. Shan and the others couldn't do enough for you throughout the stay and were attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend this place for a stay in Ella!

We spent only one night at this place, but it was a truly positive experience. We arrived early, but the staff made a delicious breakfast for us. We had it with an incredible view! Our room was clean and comfy, so we regretted that we stayed there only for one night. A pretty nice place with very helpful and kind staff

Fantastic place - clean and spacious room with everything you need. The balcony is a real highlight with the most gorgeous views, the best spot to sit and enjoy a beer or the (huge!) breakfast spread. Location is great - a short walk into the hustle and bustle of Ella or a very quick tuk tuk ride. Overall the place was great value and we’d definitely recommend!

Great room and breakfast, hosts really accommodating and took us in their tuktuk to visit places around Ella.

Slightly away from town centre, but worth it for the fantastic mountain setting. Breakfast gazing at a waterfall across empty mountain scenery. Really wonderful start to the day. Fantastic breakfast. Really nice people working there
