Bull Hotel by Greene King Inns

Was fine for one night. Breakfast was good and reasonably prices. Didn't eat in the restaurant, but that too looked good prices and good food from what we saw in passing. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Parking is limited and, as the pub serves meals, as well there weren't many spaces when we arrived about 2pm. The rear car park was cramped. Bath/Shower was very slippy. There was a sign saying that bathmats are avaialable from reception, but when you notice the sign just when you are about to get in the shower it isn't that helpful - I didn't want to be bothered to get dress and go all the way down to reception to get one so risked it. Better to just supply one in each room.

We had a great night staying here. Our room was clean and comfortable and the location was great. We enjoyed our meals here and staff were really friendly and helpful! Excellent value for money.

Perfectly located at the top of the high street. The room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. A perfect location for a night away.

Really friendly and helpful staff, great ambience in a medieval building. Good food, great beer. Room on the small side but comfortable and clean. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment.

No lift, steep stairs. Rooms much too small. Heating in bathroom not working. No practical places to hold things - no bedside table for example. One room was very noisy - hotel equipment. Beds and pillows uncomfortable.
