Bull Hotel by Greene King Inns

Welcoming hotel in an old, historic building. We stayed in two rooms - a double and a twin. Both of which were very comfortable. The showers are really powerful! I had a lovely Irish coffee in the bar too. I'd very happily stay there again.

The room was very spacious with sofa and coffee table area. Our bed was huge and very comfortable. Good shower and plenty of tea & coffee.

Lighting wasn't great, the room could do with lighting in the storage area as it was very dark. Standard lamp in the corner wasn't bright enough to read comfortably.

Friendly staff , comfortable hotel , lovely room which was big and had everything we needed . Bed was extremely comfortable.

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is plentiful and varied. Our cooked breakfast was well prepared and arrived hot.

Hotel is a charming old building and staff are very pleasant.

Booked two double rooms with breakfast included so expected two double rooms each with two set of towels and two breakfast as they are double rooms but apparently the hotel assumes there is only one person staying in a double room unless you enter a second person's name on the booking. Luckily we were let off the cost of the additional breakfast but still had to share a towel between us. Toilet blocked when we got there so had to use toilet next door. No lock on toilet door. Very basic room for quite a high price and not even a packed of biscuits included with coffee and tea facilities.
