Inn on the Harbour and Telegraph House

Was a great location walkable to locations of interest in Port Stanley. Free parking. Staff provided a charger for cellphone. Had a nice lounge on our floor.

Poor maintenance. Shower dripped profusely, toilet ran. Toilet paper holder hanging by a thread. Had probably been used as a grip bar. Is the high price paying the water bill? Light bulb missing from one bedside lamp. Couldn’t increase temperature of AC which blew cold air all night. (We hit a cold spell during our stay) No conventional way to turn on the sound of the Tv. Question and there was no staff on duty to ask- why was it at zero in the first place?

Location and view from the room were great. Short distance to a number of good shops and places to find food. Staff were interested and communicated well. Breakfast had good variety for what we expected to see. Interesting range of books to read from their library and dvds although the player wasn't hooked up properly.

Room was a bit outdated. Needed to be freshed up with new paint and some minor repairs. Not everything worked well. The DVD player wasn't connected to the tv and the toilet had it's moments either not filling up the tank or running continuously. Shower is small.

Bed is uncomfortable. Walls, ceiling/floor, and water pipes were poorly soundproof, very noisy at night when guest staying above you were walking and showering at 1-2am...

Great location. Very nice woman at check-in friendly and helpful. Jacuzzi and fireplace in room a treat. Lots of towels. Mini-fridge useful.

A bit dated but clean. Small bathroom but manageable. Website could be clearer re room choices.

The view was amazing and close to many restaurants.

Great location overlooking the river. Great reception.

Exterior is well worn. Rooms are well worn. Room we were in extremely small. As well as exterior, room worn out. Shower barely sprayed water. Tub grout was non existent. Walls thin as all noises were heard.

I loved the central location, and the direct access to the patio from the room.

I didn't like asking for crockery and cutlery, which were not available in the room on my arrival. The staff, however, were very accommodating and provided the items I requested.
