Hostal Cerro Azul

The hostel felt clean - there was daily room cleaning as well. The staff were really friendly. Kitchen had everything we needed (we already had oil etc.). The location was good - everything in walking distance and the hostel was super quiet. Massive beds!!!! Air con worked well. No problems with shower or bathroom.

I expected Isabela to be a quiet island. Instead it was so noisy in Puerto Villamil! Motorbikes and cars passing by in front of my room day and night, I needed earplugs to sleep. Tokyo is more quiet than this place... I complained, but the owner said, it is not noisy... Not recommended, if you look for a natural quiet setting...

The place provides a kitchen and fridges. The place is quiet and comfortable.

Wifi is very poor. The AC is stinky.

Great location, good price, good facilities including a kitchen, staff helped with booking tours, AC works well, shower was hot, bed was comfortable.

My Spanish is not great (I work on it, but it's hard) and I kept asking the front desk worker to speak slower (asked him in Spanish) and he would just laugh and continue to speak really fast and use a lot of words.

Lovely warm and welcoming hosts! Early check in and good shared kitchen facilities plus hammocks. Room was as described. And location was great!
