Hostal Cerro Azul

Space seemed very well equipped and maintained. Lots of facilities, great location, daily room cleaning. They helped arranging a taxi for the ferry very early on the check-out date.

The internet wasn't great, but that's something valid for the whole archipelago. Mobile data worked better than wifi.

Perfect location, really close to the main square and minimarket, 5 min walk from the beach and 15min walk from the ferry pier. Nice kitchen and nice lounge area. We also loved the little dog Noah :). Thank you.

No free access to drinking water.

Staff were friendly and helpful and were happy to let us store bags and use communal space after checkout until our ferry was leaving.Nice shared space with hammocks and kitchen facilities.

Good location

The room smelled a bit

It’s very close to town, super affordable, and we liked using the kitchen to cook breakfast.

At night there was a lot of street noise including very loud dogs.

Good size room, great hot shower. They cleaned our room. Also let us stay in common room until our flight.

There was a lo of noisefrom the neighborhood. A party til late, a crying screaming woman at 2am for an hour. Lots of dogs barking at early hours. Not the hotels fault but bring your earplugs if you aren't a heavy sleeper.

Staff was very friendly. Air conditioning worked well, and there was good hot water. There is a common area for cooking and a fridge for common use.

Facility is somewhat old. There is no drinking water available - you have to buy it from the store. Rooms are somewhat small. Overall, you pay about twice as much for quality that is about half of what you find on the mainland of Ecuador.
