Hotel Acerina Superior

A really lovely hotel, friendly staff and a welcoming environment. The food was delicious with a varied and well stocked salad buffet every night, a soup course then a choice of two mains before pudding (or ice cream) and then a brilliant cheese board. Really impressive, especially in half term when the hotel was fully booked. Breakfast was also very good. Our family room was warm, spacious and comfortable, with lovely views over the quiet neighbourhood and distant mountains. I hope to return.

A truely family owned and run hotel. Herr Wolf and his family know how to run an hotel. First class in every respect. Great food, comfortable rooms and every spa and sauna / wellness related facility one could wish for. Very helpful staff and would not hesitate to recommend.

The room was big enough for us to lay our all our ski clothing, packs, helmets goggles, braces etc. Storage for boots downstairs, and we left our skis at the rental place. The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. We also had 4 course dinners included in the half board which was very good. The chef did a good job of working around my gluten & soy allergies while providing local Austrian meals. The spa was very nice with steam room and 3 types of saunas, relaxation room, tea and snacks etc.

Shower had a hand-held which easily rotated and there was only a half glass door, so water would spray all over.

The staff is very unfriendly and not welcoming. The high price doesn't correlate to the quality of the service. The housekeepers were cold and not smiling. Overall, the hotel had a bad smell and was a bad environment. I do not recommend!!!!!

The family that runs this amazing hotel somehow managed to be extremely capable, intuitively attentive, and genuinely warm, all while running an amazing restaurant with everything my picky family wanted for both breakfast and dinner. In fact, we had intended on spending more time in surrounding Lech but the only thing we did away from the hotel is to catch the gondola up to Oberlech to start skiing every morning after breakfast (the gondola is only an 8 minute walk from the hotel, and the intersport ski rental is right in the middle of the path). We stayed in the hotel because our table was waiting for us throughout the day and night, with our name written on a ceramic sign... and the food was so good! And after skiing, the spa ended up being exactly what we needed. We would stay here again! But the friendly, funny waitstaff, and the family that owns and runs the hotel, what a lovely bunch of people.

Hotel Acerina is close and central except when wearing ski boots and carrying your skis. Would be great if they had a golf cart to take their guests to the lift and pick them up (like one of the other hotels had in their immediate vicinity) The basement room was a bit disappointing but the beds were still very comfortable. The TV is not a smart TV so you cannot connect your device to it unless you bring an HDMI cable. They should add a dimmer switch on the the lights and the bathroom needs more space to put your toiletries such as shelves etc.
