The Fylingdales Inn

Food was excellent. Staff were great.

Bed was very uncomfortable. Hairdryer overheating No mirror for drying hair.

The location. And the food was amazing .

It was very dated and could do with a good clean.

The evening meal choice was extensive and the food was very good and plentiful.

Our room did not have any bathroom products, no hairdryer and we were not shown how to turn the TV on, as it required two switches. There are no staff on the premises overnight but we were not given any safety briefing or told which keys on our room key fitted which doors. As staying guests we were not given any preferential seating area, but had to scrabble for a table with other people arriving for meals from a nearby campsite. The bar and dining areas were like a zoo with children playing on the floor, dogs everywhere and rough ill-dressed visitors. The place was filthy and all tables needed a thorough clean.

Breakfast choices outstanding - and what was served up was exceptional. Faultless - served by friendly local staff.

Carpets could do with a change - both at the main doorway and room.

This is a wonderful place to stay, excellent food and great choice of meals x Breakfast was outstanding and such great value for money x if you like to stay in a place that’s home from home with a lovely welcoming atmosphere than this Inn is a must x not far from Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby beach with a great local bus stop outside the inn which is cheap to travel on x

My husband had the full English and said it was the best so far.

Nothing in rooms about coming in late at all, and if there was a time to be back before the pub closed.
