"Exceptional"

Beautiful traditional Inn, staff were great,rooms were comfortable. We stayed for a Wedding in Thaxted, I would say pre book any taxis if you require them !!

"Disappointing."

Location.

The room was very dated, and beds too firm. Bedding felt damp despite the current heat wave. Guests in the adjoining room were screaming at each other and slamming doors until at least 2.30 am, which kept us awake and afraid for our safety.

"Reasonable price if you only want a room and a few drinks."

Good pub

No breakfast. I had to leave the key in the room door as no one was about when I left at 7:30!
