Alvanley Arms, Cotebrook

Lovely building ambience and atmosphere - just a great local place to stay and eat/drink The staff were superb and could not be more friendly and helpful - thank you!

Nothing - we had an excellent stay

Easy to find, nice location, welcoming, friendly staff. Good gastro-pub style restaurant with attentive service. Great full English breakfast. Really good selection of real ales. (for after breakfast!)

The bars were quite cool, and the main fire was not lit on a cold day. It was very cold outside! The rooms were nicely heated.

From the minute we arrived, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. My partner is pregnant and they were able to accommodate all of our needs and requests, with a a smile on their faces. The food was reasonably priced and cooked to a high standard for pub food - breakfast was especially good and included in the price! Perfectly placed for a walk around Delamere Forest the next day; I would highly recommend and be more than happy stay again.
