Finnvikhaugen Rooms

Absolutely amazing! Johan answered the phone very late on a Friday night and was able to accommodate 4 stranded travelers. The decor is all so beautiful and well thought out. The place was spotless considering they weren´t even expecting anyone and the kitchen was well equipped and ready to use. Beds were huge and so comfy, the room has everything you need and the common area is so cosy with the fire being lit before we arrived. You are out in the nature (expect classic bad Norwegian roads to get there) but feel well looked after and safe. We just can´t wait to come back and visit again.

Great host. Great property. Felt like home. It was a great stay. Very comfortable, and the host was awesome. He started a fire for us and offered dinner. Will stay here again! Also a great spot for the northern lights. View from the rooms is perfect for viewing in the warmth and comfort.

This was the cleanest accommodation ever (and we travel quite a lot), so cozy and comfortable, one feels at home immediately.

very cozy, comfortable, not expensive. Room was warm and clean, comfortable bed. kitchen well equipped. they also have snow shoes, rain jackets, and other stuff for hiking. And also outside in the trees,every morning you can see squirrel 😁

We had such a great time at Finnvikhaugen Rooms. The location is absolutely stunning with multiple northern lights opportunities during our stay (goal accomplished!!). Johan’s is very friendly and helpful and his property is great for hiking, lake activities and enjoying the nature - the property comes stocked with winter boots, clothes and reflective gear. The kitchen is full of high quality professional equipment and anything you might need for making breakfast or dinner. Johan also kindly offered to rent us a car - very useful for travelling around

Everything exceeded our expectations

Without doubt one of the best properties I’ve ever stayed at! Fresh and recently renovated. The rooms were super comfy and designed with lovely finishing touches. Very clean including the shared bathrooms and kitchen. The owner is very friendly. We are definitely coming back in the future!!

Despite the slightly remote location, it was great for sightseeing Tromsø as the drive was very scenic.

This is the most amazing place I've ever stayed at. Johan is the best host! The place is super nice and cozy, everything is perfect. Snow equipment is at disposal so we went for the walk in the mountain nearby with snowshoes and were able to see the northern lights! There are no words to say how much I would recommand this place!! So do yourself a favor and book a room for some unforgettable memories!

All was great ! the location with an amazing view near Bardufoss airport very convenient when you arrive late (22pm) . you have a code to enter by yourself for that time. The furniture are so good and all is decorated with taste. The kitchen is very well equipped . And last but not least the manager is very welcoming he offers 3 rooms for 2 as it was more comfortable for my girl and my dad to sleep on separate beds. we appreciate a lot.

This place I amazing! incredibly affordable. Everything in this place is arranged down to the smallest detail for our comfort. Located in a beautiful location with amazing views. All the equipment you could possibly need in the kitchen. Cozy areas for everyone with fireplace with amazing view, TV, games, guitar and more. There are even winter clothes to borrow in various sizes. Very fresh and clean rooms & toilets. The rooms are spacious with sofas/armchairs, wardrobes, fridge, TV and large comfortable double beds with fresh beddings. We are so grateful that we ended up right here!
