The room smelt (difficult to say what of - possibly dettol or tar from the flat roof outside the window) The mattress was very hard. The corridors were messy with bags of washing left outside rooms. The visitor comments book had rude pictures drawn in it. Our friend arranged to drop off her case with the agreement that her case would be put in her room when it was ready (we were off to a wedding) we returned from the wedding and her case was not in her room. There were no emergency contact details available to contact the owners. Dreadful.

There was no comfortable lounge area in which to relax. The bedroom carpet was very dusty, especially around the edges. One of the waitresses in the restaurant was sullen and unhelpful.
