Character, great for a business stop. Makes a massive change from the bed factories up and down our roads. The room was great, way above average. The bed was good too.

Room was a bit small, but beds were very comfortable. Did have a small problem with a smelly shower, but it was quickly + efficiently sorted. The food was superb! Booked an evening meal for our arrival night -- fantastic menu. Definitely not your usual pub grub menu. All food freshly cooked and was delicious! The biggest surprise was the breakfast. As well as the usual cereals, fruit, croissants, Full English etc, there was also a menu serving other delicious dishes .. not ones I've ever had before in a b&b pub. We were also invited to take some food for lunch/later. Amazing!

The Shoulder of Mutton is a lovely village pub with comfortable accommodation. The rooms were clean and well presented. The staff were friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was excellent! We will definitely be back next time we’re in the area 😊

Super friendly host, staff and locals. The choice of food on the evening & breakfast menus was extensive, reasonably priced, of generous portions & superbly cooked. Wide choice of beers, spirits & soft drinks. We were even treated to a cheese & cracker selection by our host. If you want an expensive hotel experience book one but if you want a slightly remote country pub b&b with all of the above go here.

Wer ein Zimmer in einem urigen Pub sucht, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber und hatte sogar einen Whirlpool, den wir aber nicht genutzt haben. Die Leute dort sind sehr nett.
