Fabulous pub in a lovely quiet location. Brian the owner was Brilliant and his staff were superb. The food was excellent including the breakfast.

Room could have been a little cleaner but minor gripe really.

"Perfect stay in a Staffordshire village. Great food and company."

We loved the location in the village of Hamstell Ridware. We loved the walk to the Church with the cherry tree in full bloom and discovered Jane Austen had worshiped there. The reverend was her cousin (some speculation that the infamous Mr Collins in P & P is based on this cousin). We also loved our night at the pub. We were welcomed in, given a friendly history lesson and also ate some great food! It was a happy and visit. Thank you.

"Exceptional"

Friendly staff. Welcoming staff. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. Weather great so able to eat in the beer garden. Staff couldn't do enough for us, would highly recommend and will return if in the area.
