The Arts Hotel

If you just need a basic place to stay this is a good deal for the money. Very walkable location in downtown.

The location was great but rooms were very small and no tv. Parking is a bit of an issue.

Location and the staff. Hannah is the most amazing support staff i have ever met, she was kind, patient and truly helpful.

The Arts Hotel offers a different concept from a typical hotel room. Rooms have minimalist decor and are very small, but well designed. In the bedroom area there is a desk and chair, and a few hooks but no closet. Use the drawers under the bed to stow your suitcase. The bathroom shower door covers just the front of the shower, similar to showers seen in France. This is why there is another drain in the middle of the bathroom floor. The shower shares a wall with the main room. This is a VERY small room, but compared to an overnight cabin on a ferry or a train, there is plenty of space. There is a large common area on the 2nd floor with television, couches, tables, a sink, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and fridge. Behind that room is a laundry room. The active neighborhood has many restaurants and people out enjoying the evening.

Friendly staff. The hotel was clean but the rooms are very small. No TV in the room. They had a lounge area with laundry facilities and two TV’s.

High end hostel. Nice shower terrific bed. Very compact - tiny room. Not good for big people. No tv I can live with but how about a radio/clock. Inadequate lighting to read in bed. One chair so if 2 people 2 suitcases you both are sitting in bed. Not good value unless you travel light, are a minimalist and just want a shower and sleep And weight under 200 pounds!!!!

They call it a minimalist hotel and they mean it... It was mostly ok. Big turn off was the stall door on the bathroom. I'm ok with minimalist but I think the added cost for a bathroom door would be worth it ;)

It is right by some vlub that was playing insanely loud music all night on a Saturday night. Its also the cheapest hotel in the city, which unfortunately seems to attract people from across the island looking to come into the city to drink and party on the weekend. There was a group of about 8 people in the room across from us drinking and yelling until early in the morning. Avoid on weekends
