The Arts Hotel

Stayed last Monday into Tuesday and couldn't have asked for a better stay. Simple but comfortable and convenient. Staff is super friendly and situated perfectly within walking distance of great restaurants and shops. Very recommended!

Minimalist option for those just wanting to stay a day or two in Charlottetown

It definitely is “minimalist”. By the amount of luggage we brought, we are not! Lol The rooms are basic and a little tight but we weren’t in PEI to stay in our room. It suited our needs. The bed was comfortable. As we were there for 4 nights, it’s important that you fill out the form for the room to be serviced. The hotel was very accessible to restaurants, shops, and an easy jaunt down to the wharf. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again but would pack a little less.

Minimalists hotel should have a minimal price tag. Extreme noise until 2am Poor shower conditions . Bedding not adequate for temperature.

No tv or blow dryers in room very small

The room was very nice and clean and the staff were very friendly. We stayed on a Saturday, so the only downside was the music from the bar below (ponyboat) was so loud and thumping in the room and we were even on the third floor and didnt wnd til 2am. Other than that a nice convenient spot to stay downtown.

Staff were very nice. The communal kitchen was useful. Location of the hotel was perfect to get around downtown. Very walkable to everywhere downtown.

Didn't realize that a TV was not provided, it should be clearer in the description. Also the wifi is really slow, couldn't watch my ipad. I found out after the hotel was supposed to be a detox stay.

Location - It's central and within walking distance of attractions. Plenty of restaurants and entertainment nearby. Comfort - room size was spacious for King room. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was good size as well. Amenities - it's a minimalist hotel so no coffee machine or TV but fine with us. There's a lounge on 2nd floor and laundry facilities. Service - Very good service with helpful staff

(i) We stayed for 4 nights and while housekeeping only available every 2nd day. Cleanliness when we checked in was good but housekeeping was not thorough. (ii) Shower water pressure was low. (iii) Room was a little dark ie not enough lighting.

This is a minimalist hotel. As long as you are prepared for that, it is in a great location and good value for money. There is a second floor lounge (where you can meet fellow guests) with a laundrey and ironing facility attached.

Small room, one chair, nothing in room, pricey for this type of room with no coffee maker, or anything inside.
