we liked everything

the only thing we found to be adjusted was the meal service had to be ordered each day. meals were at set times. we do intermittent fasting and eat our big meal mid day which wasn't possible at the hotel. we didn;t mind eating at other places but occasionally it was raining hard and we had to walk a distance.

In this day and age where it is difficult to find customer service, this lodge defines that. The staff is warm, friendly, and helpful in everyway. The attention to detail is incredible. From the moment you arrive and shuttle by van to the town, to the 15 min boat ride to get there, to the welcoming hand towels and drinks to the end of you stay, the staff amazing. There is a chef that prepares great food and has choices for all. Upon our departure, it was raining so at the dock, they had ponchos ready for us to wear. They also had water to wash our feet and towels to dry them. The tours were done in the mornings which was nice. Our room was clean and spacious.

The 1 and only thing for us was the rooms don't have air conditioning. But they put in an extra fan in our room that was very helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend the lodge, just be aware of this.

Si j’avais pu mettre 6/5 à la catégorie “le personnel”, je l’aurais fait. Les employés sont tellement serviables et gentils, ils sont attentionnés et toujours un pas devant nous pour s’assurer de notre bien-être ! Tout le reste était super et la nourriture était excellente.

Wonderful place with friendly staff, in an incredible Location. So much wildlife to be viewed from our balcony. Excellent food.

The staff were amazing, incredibly helpful and helped us have a brilliant time. The hotel has its own dock which makes going on tours of the area really easy. Highly recommend getting the transfer boat from Sierpe, very easy and quick.,

Well maintained rooms and grounds. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Very clean. Spacious. 2 overhead fans plus a standing fan so we slept very well at night, never too hot. Large overhead roof so we could sit outside on our deck even in the heaviest rain. Coffee pot in room. Remember to plan to bring drinking water from the dining room. Food was amazing! 3 choices for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was ordered off the menu. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We happened to be in a “family room” which included a hammock and large table and chairs on the deck. We stayed in Room 1. I highly recommend it. There are many steps to climb from the center of the resort and room 1 and 2 reached first. You MUST be able to climb steps.

Nothing we don’t like. Minor inconvenience is forgetting to bring drinking water with us requires another trip down to the dining room.
