Aguila de Osa Rainforest Lodge

Hotel in the middle of the jungle very nice located. Breakfast was great! Be aware of the monkeys while you eat. :-) But it´s quite funny and cute. Rooms clean and quite big and with good beds and mattresses. Very friendly staff.

Horrible check in experience - after a 7 hour drive they told us if we didn’t get there at 7pm for dinner (we were going to be there at 7:30) we had to eat “only the main course quickly in our room” - the parking was 20min walk from the property and we had to lug our suitcases there mainly by ourselves. The dining staff was great but the manager were working on a table in the main area and never said hello which was strange. They were also crabs in the bedroom and animal droppings and dead flies on the bed pillows when we checked in. Fine for a 1/2 star property but for the price we paid we were not impressed by the service

Extremely expensive and not many food options

The property is located in a remote area - in Drake Bay on the Osa peninsula. It is very calm with very nice and spacious rooms and verandas where you can sit and enjoy the view and the nature. It is beautiful. Staff is very kind and helpful and make all they can to make your stay very comfortable. We very much enjoyed having the meals around big tables where you can enjoy conversations with the other guests. The food is generally good. I would definitely recommend Aguila de Osa!

It's hard to describe the beauty of the Osa and the Aguila de Osa is in an ideal location to experience it. Falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle is so amazing. The Drake Bay public trail is right there and it offers 3 hours of some of the most beautiful trails that we have ever walked. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful too.

Beautiful surroundings, excellent staff, (ALL very kind and attentive) excellent food ( shout out to Rolo ), and many things to do.

There was nothing not to like

The staff was absolutely fantastic. They were extremely helpful & friendly in every way. The decor is rustic & beautiful! It reflects the environment well. BEAUTIFUL views too!

I loved everything & especially the staff & the food! I can only suggest maybe they can get some of those small fan units that spray a cooling mist-for the nights when it was very hot.

Everything was top notch. Most amazing place I’ve ever stayed in my life.
