Spa Hotel ULRIKA

Description: I have visited several hotels in Karlovy Vary, but Hotel Ulrika is in my opinion absolutely top in all respects. Great location, exceptional cleanliness, friendly staff and, last but not least, an excellent wellness facility and related spa treatments. I have nothing to complain about the food served at the hotel either, it was simply delicious. I recommend Hotel Ulrika to all discerning customers who want to be pampered on their holiday.

I will always be very happy to return to this Spa Hotel because its services are of the highest standard. I am excited, as is my wife, that the ULRIKA Spa House still offers all the services and balneo treatments today, during the global pandemic Covid19, including two amazing swimming pools, several saunas and great cuisine. The location of the hotel house is right next to the spa colonnade of Karlovy Vary, in a very quiet place. It is a place where presidents and kings can heal.

Everything, from the arrival till the departure went absolutely well: welcoming face at the reception, smile and professional attitude of the staff at the restaurant, excellent food (fish for buffet dinner every day) and professional care at the spa medical center. Luxury accommodation (very comfortabel beds) with the touch to details, beautiful aqua zone and relaxing atmosphere within the hotel. Very close to the spa center, easy to walk everywhere. My big thank goes to the each person of the staff from the waiters to the director who made our stay unforgettable.

Luxury accommodation, in the center of the spa town of Karlovy Vary. In the summer days, we especially appreciated the quiet air conditioning. Delicious food, it was tasty and healthy at the same time. Very good hotel and spa services. We also used both hotel pools for recreation. All hotel staff were helpful and friendly.

It was really amazing time in this hotel. Staff prepared awesome Luxury room for our wedding aniversary. Thank them so much. We will come again for sure. Also there is great wellness and great breakfasts and everybody are very kind.

Příjemný lázeňský týden v příjemném luxusním hotelu za přijatelnou cenu. Spousta lázeňských procedur na výběr, příjemný a vždy se vším nápomocný personál, výborná strava. Při odjezdu na nás na recepci čekal milý dárek přímo od pana ředitele a slevový voucher na příští pobyt. Rozhodně doporučuji všem. A pleasant spa week in luxury hotel for an affordable price. Lots of spa treatments to choose from, friendly and always helpful staff, excellent food. Upon departure, a nice gift was waiting for us at the reception directly from the director and also discount voucher for the next stay. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

We told the hotel at the time of booking that we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. That is all that it took. They did everything imaginable to make our stay special. Meals, wait staff, housekeeping, spa attendant,reception... all A-1. Even the manager greeted and made us feel welcome. There were baked goods waiting in our room, we were loaned an espresso machine for the duration of our stay, a --complimentary bottle of wine on our anniversary. Friendly faces and helpful service at every turn. Ten thumbs up. I would be happier if they had a bottle of hot sauce available in the dining room. There was a $1.00 discrepancy at check out. Not a big issue. Humans make mistakes.

The hotel doesn't have room service like a 4 star hotel should,the lobby bar it's closed in the morning and if you want to take a coffee in the restaurant a very nervous waiter Ivo Bernat it's yelling at you and take the coffee from your hand.They ask you for a dressing code at the breakfast which is not specified on nowhere.When we want to make a complain at the reception ,they suddenly start to speak czech language.

Night one ! Be aware if you book through an agent and he/she is not there you will not be checked in! After almost an hour with a very moody receptionist finally got into the room Clean but really small for 2 friends to share for 11 nights Been promised a bigger room tomorrow, let’s see what happens. Food : really small choice but what I had was nice - fish and veggies Again the pictures on the website show a large variety but not the case at the buffet diner. Only tap water and coffee and tea included in the package of the full board ...... no soft drinks offered. But there was ice cream ;) maybe is a Go easy on the food Wednesday? 😕 Tomorrow- I shall be seeing the spa center and see if the promises of a bigger room and the variety of food improves. For now we wait and see .... Bathroom really small for 2 people to share for 12 days and 11 nights

What was supposed to be a nice getaway, turned into a frustrating, horrible experience! The manager of the hotel walked away when there was an issue at the front desk upon arrival. The spa administrator, is the most miserable woman I have ever met in many years of travels. To say she was rude is an understatement. Her negativity and failure to make accommodations for ANYTHING, made this trip a complete waste. The actual spa staff were very nice and attentive, I guess to make up for the administration and management of this so-called spa. 2 of the 4 saunas were not working, and breakfast was a disaster, where they stop bringing out fresh food at 8:45. They reserve their 4 parking spots for 'vip' clients and you need to pay 20 eur/night for parking at a hotel which is a 10 minute walk away. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere!
