Quinta San Felipe

We needed a clean, comfortable space close to the airport for our 4:00am departure. This was perfect - excellent staff, very comfortable and 10 min from airport.

The room for two twin beds was good, clean, quiet. It was a very good value for us, as we were looking for a quick overnight before heading out of Quito.

The breakfast was minimal, only scrambled eggs and two pieces of toast plus some juice. There was no place to hang clothes, only drawers.

Seemed to be a nice hotel. Large lawn with a beautiful, clean, pool. My room was nice, spacious, comfortable. The staff was kind to me, or, maybe, tolerant.

Upon arrival it was apparent that the entire hotel, except for my room, was occupied by teenagers. At first, I thought it was, perhaps, a college group preparing to fly out from Quito airport. But, my fears were confirmed when the music was cranked up to high volume shortly after 4 PM and the party began. I left to find some supper, slim choices for that, and returned at 6:15 to find a drumming session going on by the pool with loud group singing. I neither wanted to listen to that (very loud inside my room) nor be a party spoiler so I found another hotel online and got out of there by 7 PM. I have no idea what happened there after I left but I know what my instincts and past exoerience said would go on. The office manager helped me call a taxi but still charged for my stay. I don't think this room should have been sold to anyone who was not a part of this event!

We needed a place by the airport for an overnight before flying out. The hotel arranged for a driver to pick us up which went perfectly. Very nice grounds with a pool we did not try. The room was clean, and comfortable. The manager answered all our questions on Google translate which I am now going to use. The next day we had breakfast, and left. Had to rush back to the hotel as we thought we left our passport and jacket. Found our passport deep in our luggage but we did leave the jacket at the hotel. They were so accommodating. Would stay here again. Saw a vermillion flycatcher at breakfast!
