Valldemossa Hotel

Hotel Valldemossa is pure serenity — perched high above the village with jaw-dropping views of the mountains and the historic monastery, it feels like stepping into a dream. The entire setting has a peaceful, almost spiritual quality that invites you to slow down and breathe. Service was outstanding throughout — warm, attentive, and seamless without ever being overbearing. My girlfriend had a 90-minute facial and said it was one of the best she’s experienced. I had a Thai massage that was solid and professional, though a quick check-in on focus areas would’ve made it even better. The property itself blends rustic charm with understated luxury, letting the stunning natural surroundings do the heavy lifting. It’s not just a beautiful hotel — it’s a place that stays with you.

Hotel Valldemossa is a delightful property, beautifully presented and maintained with loads of character. Our room was very comfortable, with a private terrace and stylish furnishings. The setting is superb, with lovely views of the Tramantuna nearby. There are only 12 rooms, so it’s intimate, but doesn’t lack facilities. The staff are superb -friendly and so helpful - when we requested loungers for our terrace to replace the deck chairs provided, it was done in a flash - fantastic. Food’s good too, though if you want to vary it and eat round and about, the village is only a 5 minute walk. Be aware however that this is a hilly area, and if restricted mobility is an issue the hotel - and Valldemossa in general - may not be for you. One tiny criticism - we could have done with parasols around the lovely pool - it was very hot during our stay. Though if we’d asked for one I’ve no doubt it would have been provided!

We decided to treat ourselves to four nights here and booked a junior suite. The room was not ready when we arrived and we were therefore offered a very long check in process and a guided tour of the hotel. We realised the very attentive gentleman was trying to fill in time whilst the room was cleaned, but, he did offer us a couple for drinks alongside this. Frankly, we could have walked into Valldemossa instead (it is only a short walk) and had lunch which would have been a better option. And this sums up the hotel. Nothing is too much trouble it is a stunning place but the "attentiveness" sometimes becomes a little overbearing. There are only around ten rooms and ours could not be faulted with a very large terrace included. The pool is excellent. Breakfast was superb and the restaurant is really very high quality. Being able to walk easily into the beautiful town was a huge bonus and we did this every day. I have to say, overall we were very sad to leave and would strongly recommend the hotel.

My husband and I stayed at this property from May 9 until May 12, 2025. This hotel recently underwent an ownership change, and the new owners—who have backgrounds in art and interior design—have infused the property with their refined aesthetic. The result is gorgeous and dreamy, worthy of a spot on Mike White’s White Lotus series on HBO. The location is superb: just a five-minute walk to the center of charming Valldemossa village, with its eye-catching Carthusian Monastery. For travelers with rental cars, this property is ideal, as it has a dedicated parking lot directly across the street from its entrance. Even the parking lot offers beautiful views. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, De Tokio a Lima, and not only was our meal delectable—the view from our table was fantastic. Even the treats from the minibar were delicious and of high quality. The hotel has a small pool and sauna that guests can book for private use as part of their stay. When you reserve the spa area, it’s exclusive to your room, which made the experience feel especially luxurious. The only downside is that the pool water isn’t heated—but that’s a very minor complaint. We had an amazing stay at Hotel Valldemossa!

A true 5 star experience of peacefulness and quiet luxury. The hotel is beautifully located in Valldemossa and feels like a private villa since there are only 12 rooms. This was our first stay at the hotel and we spent 5 nights there. This was also our first trip to Mallorca. A special mention to Ana, the front office manager and her excellent team: they were always ready to help us with planning our days, taxis, transfers, experiences, and general advice. We relied on them to put together some varied excursions ( touring the beautiful local villages, a beach club day, Palma etc. ) and they always did so with a smile and true hospitality. Our room was quiet and spacious, the restaurant excellent and the pool area an oasis of calmness: serene and beautiful with always available sun loungers. We definitely plan on coming back.

We have stayed at all the IT hotels in Majorca. They are all super with wonderful staff but this one is the crowning glory! What a wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived we were looked after and pampered. The terrace and room we had were a delight. The pool area was so peaceful and there were always sun loungers available. The lunches we had were exceptional and the breakfasts on the terrace were lovely. The grounds are immaculate and very pretty. A special mention to Anna who is so professional and exceptionally good at her job. She really looked after us and her enthusiasm and valued advice was greatly appreciated. We continued our holiday in Palma but quickly wished we had spent the whole time in the peace, quiet and luxury of Hotel Valldemossa. The whole experience of staying at the hotel is one we cannot wait to repeat again.

My husband and I spent 5 nights at this INCREDIBLE property nestled in the most charming town of Valldemossa. The room was stunning with a terrace overlooking the valley and mountains surrounding...just breathtaking and so serene to hear birds and even sheep in the distance. We were overwhelmed by the gracious, cheerful, and helpful staff that went out of their way to help us with recommendations, directions, and reservations. We loved talking with them every day. The delicious breakfast each morning was the highlight of the start of each day, enjoyed with the dreamiest view. It is apparent that the goal of this resort is to provide the ultimate stay for their guests. We love that it is a small boutique hotel that has the time to really focus on each guest and treat them like family. I didn't want to say goodye, and this magical stay will be in my heart forever. EVERY aspect was beyond 5 stars.
