Location was great for Harry potter world

Bathroom was small and the noise from pulling the chain on toilet but for a old pub understandable bed so uncomfortable but when just to get your head down it was ok

Ambiente storico, e antico. E personale accogliente e disponibile, colazione all'inglese e cene con piatti suggestivi, veramente molto squisiti, ambiente con una storia caratteristica. La stanza era un piccolo gioiello con dei letti molto comodi e l'organizzazione delle donne delle pulizie che passavano ogni mattina a vedere se ci mancava qualcosa.

L'unica pecca era il bagno.

Abbiamo soggiornato due notti per visitare gli studios di Harry Potter e la location è in una posizione strategica per farlo. Personale disponibile e gentile, stanza calda ed accogliente, bagno pulito e funzionale. Il pub è molto vivo, c'è tanta gente che lo frequenta perché si mangia e si beve benissimo!

Really lovely pub hotel, perfect location to get to the Warner Bros Studios, very easy to get an Uber there and back. The food was stunning. The staff were nothing but friendly and welcoming, we arrived a little before check in time, and this was not a problem. Our room was en suite, extremely clean and tidy. I loved that everything was a little old and wonky, really gave it a bit of a 'Leaky Cauldron' feeling.

The room we were in was very very warm, which meant we had to open the window in the night, with the trains going past it meant that I, as a very light sleeper, did not have the best sleep. But my husband slept just fine! The pub of course cannot help the trains but it'd be great to be able to control the temperature of the room a little better.

wouldnt consider this for anything other than 1 overnight stay for Harry potter studio or 25 mins journey to Heathrow

Het was een cosy hotelletje, speciaal gekozen omdat het zo dicht bij Warner Bros.Studio gelegen was. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk. We zijn goed ontvangen.

Het toilet spoelde niet door, en nadat iemand kwam kijken bleek dat je eerst moest pompen met de hendel om te kunnen doorspoelen. Er lag een dode kever in ons bed. En hetgeen echt jammer was... Het ontbijt begon pas om 9u in de ochtend.(Tegen 10u moesten we trouwens uitgecheckt zijn) We moesten een trein halen om 8.30u naar onze volgende bestemming. Zelfs geen koffie! In de meeste hotels (waar ik toch ben geweest) is er ontbijt van 7u tot 10.30u.

All in all an nice stay. The lady from the hotel was super friendly and nice, since we went there for the Harry Potter Studio Tour she reminded us of Madam Rosmerta since she also served at the pub downstairs. We were to tired to go to the pub but the atmosphere seemed fun.
