Close to Harry Potter studios and 66 books Nice food

-Dirty bathroom -Doors don’t close -Single pane windows -Railway line is very frequent and loud although I understand that’s not their fault. -Paid £108 for 1 night. Could get a luxury hotel in Cardiff for the same price -Charged £10 for a single balloon when it was offered to me for girlfriend’s birthday with no mention of any charge it was added on it my £100 food bill -Uneven floors -kettle was full of limescale floating around even after boiling and changing water

The staff were so friendly and helpful and the rooms were quirky and historic; perfect for our visit to the Harry Potter film studios. The family suite was the perfect set up for us as a family of four but can accommodate six. The pub itself has some very old historic features and huge fireplaces. It was decorated for Christmas. We wished we’d got there earlier in the evening as the food looked really good but it was nice just having a drink and playing games by the fire. My child left something behind in the room and the staff went above and beyond returning it to us.

Breakfast service doesn’t start until 9am on Sundays, we had to leave before that. Shame as the menu looked really good! The emergency lighting in the rooms that’s on all night glowed a bit too brightly and disturbed one person’s sleep.

Great location in relation to the canal which I was walking along, nice evening meal was had in the restaurant attached to the property

No hot water in room but was resolved

When we arrived not working radiators, we could not close window,broken! In the morning not hot water, so could take the shower
