Green Tree Hotel

Breakfast was lovely, plenty to eat , very tasty and cooked perfectly. The hotel is very clean, perfectly located for the whole town and good value for money. We also had dinner the night before which was delicious, huge helpings. Would definitely recommend.

The room was cold. The central heating didn't work. There was an electric heater which had been put in the room obviously for this reason but it wasn't enough to heat the area. The other thing we didn't like was the staircase up to the room, which was like a spiral and quite narrow, but we are both in our seventies so take that into consideration. On reflection, it was a family room so for younger people there wouldn't be a problem.

Great place to stay l9cation perfect off street parking . Clean comfy staff great food lovely and can get a wee pint smashing but to stay.

Friendly, helpful staff, good food, good location for our purposes.

The public area, in particular the corridors, are in need of refurbishment. Our room was clean and comfortable, though the desk was long past its best, with the edges broken and crumbling. It needs replacing, and quite a simple inexpensive though worthwhile new surface to the desk would make all the difference.

The staff/owner were very friendly and helpful. 4 of us arrived in the rain with muddy bikes and they were extremely helpful finding a dry secure store for our bikes. The location was central and the food was plentiful and good value for money. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable.

One of the rooms was a bit stuffy as the window didn’t open.

The location was excellent. And the staff couldn't have been more accommodating.

The location of the hotel was just right, close to high street and for walks along river tweed. Food, including breakfast, was very good. Fresh and lots of it

The bedroom, had all the facilities expected but is in need of a bit of tlc.
