Ye Old Boote Inn

An absolutely charming inn, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing! The brecfast was georgous, can't wait to go back!

Food was good, breakfast lacks extras like juice and cereal, very noisy though the evening. Nice big car park and view of castle.its a shame.

Room small and very basic, couldn't see how to get WiFi, bathroom floor was very dirty and grubby, when I looked at bed ,sheets they had lots of long women's hairs in , horrible ,won't stop here again.

Location good. We used it as.a base for overnight stay at local hospital - only 2 miles away. Opposite very scenic castle and moat, but on a T junction so quite a bit of traffic noise. Parking excellent. Food was nice but out of some basics.

Overcharged on meal on Sunday night for item we ordered but then were told it wasn’t available. Mushroom starter wasn’t served as described in menu. Custard was cold on one of the warm deserts. Shower in Room was poor. Isolation power switch was located outside the bathroom, but this wasn’t mentioned to us by staff. Windows were poor - didn’t fasten properly. Increased traffic noise. Dirty tray from previous occupant (or even earlier) found inside one of the cupboards in the room.

Food is fantastic, we had two meals and everyone had different things but all raved about their own choice. Room was of good size, clean and comfortable with everything I needed.

Lovely setting

Went down for breakfast in the morning, waited 10 mins nobody about, left. Overall facilities do not meet expectations. Have stayed in much better premises for less.
