Great location opposite a castle. Ideal for our stay

Public areas a bit grubby but friendly staff and rooms well appointed and clean.

Quaint hotel, nicely decorated within. Service and food were great, very enjoyable. Liked that the duck pound and castle were just across the road! Relaxing atmosphere.

The traffic on the road was heavy at times and right outside my window.

Staff all brilliant and great location

Shower not very powerful , riser loose and head not very clean.

The location is excellent and the castle ruins and grounds opposite a great bonus for dog owners. Friendly and helpful staff.

The bedding provided was a little uncomfortable (duvets too warm for the season and feather pillows uncomfortable for us). We also found the room quite noisy overnight with traffic noises from the road immediately below our room and on more than one occasion, sirens as well as some very loud conversation from either nearby rooms or the bar below.

Good location, clean and comfortable, staff were lovely

Only bad thing was one of the pillows on the bed was really hard!!

Super friendly staff, so welcoming and helpful who went out of their way to ensure I and my two dogs were happy. Great restaurant menu and well cooked and presented
