Location as visiting friend in the village

Shower was awful -no power -running too hot & cold . Traffic started at 6am. Cango hammer at 8am

Friendly staff. Food excellent. Great location for visiting Llangollen.

Location good, staff pleasant and efficient.

It is a lovely old building, sloping floors, but tired. Food v average, I think bought in. No daily menu, just a standard printed one. Needs some TLC, v dark paintwork. No pictures in the small bedroom. No seat in toilet, cup to catch water under radiator, v basic wall mounted toiletries only, no hand soap etc., small bed.

The staff were friendly and the bed was very comfortable. It’s a nice little place to stay.

It’s worth keeping in mind the pub is located next to a main road which is very busy round the clock. The church bells can also be heard chiming every 15 minutes day and night. If you’re a light sleeper this may not be the place for you.

Warm welcome, nice food in the evening, plenty of parking.

Bathroom could do with an update, electric shower only gave a weak jet of water.
