The location as I chose it specifically because I was visiting canon hall farm

The staff were ill trained. The chairs were filthy and had mould on one I sat on and have a picture. We did not have breakfast the second day because it was appalling on the first day and I had to send my wifes scrambled egg back because it was disgusting and should NEVER have come out of the kitchen. Any Chef worth his salt would not have sent it out. The egg was grey and disgusting. When I reported it to the staff I was met with indifference and NO apology. The room was ok but the lighting in the main area was very poor and needs addressing. My wife mentioned al this kn check out but was not left with any confiden e that our comment would be passed on to the manager. We WILL NOT EVEF go back to this hotel.

Staff ,food And accomadation was just beautiful . Location is stunning .

Breakfast was freshly cooked, hearty and delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Nothing to write about

Wir sind abends angekommen und konnten direkt im Hauseigenen Pub etwas essen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und es gab auch eine gute Auswahl für Vegetarier. Sehr gemütliches Haus. Die Zimmer befinden sich in einem extra Gebäude über einen separaten Zugang. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und sauber.

Leider hatte unser Zimmer ein sehr kleines Fenster. Die Vorhänge hatten leichten Schimmelbefall. Im Gang gab es einen Wasserschaden an der Decke, weshalb der Treppenaufgang einer kleinen ruhenden Baustelle gleicht.

Inn atmosphere was lovely and the breakfast was good.

Friendly staff, comfortable room

Charming building. Although big, the pub layout made each area feel cosy. Rooms were a good size, located in a building a very short walk from the pub. Ie 1 min away.

This isn’t a massive criticism but something to be aware of. The radiators worked, maybe a bit too well! Needed to turn off at night as room became far too hot & being on the ground floor, the windows only opened a tiny fraction. With the recent cold weather waking up felt a bit chilly but radiators blasted out the heat very quickly once turned on. Took ages to find the towel radiator switch to turn it on. It was located along the bedroom wall, not in the bathroom. If this was mentioned in the welcome pack, we didn’t see it.

Lovely location, super friendly staff, and great food in the pub.

Could have done with some coat hooks by the door and also some bottled water would have been a nice extra.
