Woodbury Park Hotel & Spa

Good location, pool and spa area very nice. Rooms a little dated although some areas look to have been modernised. Nice view of the golf course - staff helpful.

Very hard to find the lift. Rooms are warm. Food in the clubhouse not as good as the restaurant we had eaten in before.

The lodge was situated close enough to use the facilities easily.

It didn’t have a corkscrew. Some minor repairs needed to windows.

I had an internal room with no window and I paid a decent price for the room Also I had booked a double and had two single beds stuck together staff were not helpful at all

Comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the golf course. Robes for the health suite left on the bed. Pool spotlessly clean, jacuzzi, sauna and hydro pool all spacious.

Breakfast was fine but a little limited in terms of a continental selection.

Lovely setting with beautiful grounds and reasonable spa facilities.

On arrival we learned that the hotel had closed its own bar and restaurant, with no notification to this effect. Guests therefore had to use the golf club house. Not enough staff here to cope with guests, and that was even on a quiet evening. Me and my friend managed to get one course of food in about 1 and 1/2 hours and there was no checking on us to see how things were or any offer to get us a 2nd drink or anything like that. The bar area is what I would term a ‘man’s sports bar’ and not somewhere that 2 girlies felt comfortable. Also not a great array of drinks on offer. Similar situation at breakfast time, with very inattentive staff. Never even checked us in to take our room number, no welcome etc. The times we had been given as well for weekend breakfast seemed to be completely incorrect as people were arriving way after the end time. Also, at weekends, breakfast usually goes on later not earlier than a weekday!?

The spa was lovely.

The cost of the wine was very expensive and the food was quite average. Disappointed to not be able to order food in our room that evening too.

Rooms spacious and comfortable. Lovely swimming pool and gym. Staff really friendly and helpful. Lots of parking. Food tasty. Great location.

Would benefit from some plug sockets next to the bed.

Cannot fault this spacious hotel and its location, views etc., second break here and will return.

Room safe option would be useful.

Beautiful grounds and golf course.

Evening meal service was poor and slow. Only single breakfast payment option so paid £16 for tea and 2 slices of toast!
