Woodbury Park Hotel & Spa

We had a very enjoyable stay at Woodbury Park Hotel & Spa and thoroughly enjoyed our two nights there. The spa and leisure facilities were exceptional. The sauna, steam room, swimming pool, and gym were all excellent, clean, and well maintained. They provided the perfect environment to relax and unwind during our stay. We stayed in one of the lodges, which was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully presented. The accommodation was spacious, well equipped, and made us feel right at home. The hotel grounds were lovely, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Their professionalism and attentiveness helped make our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, the facilities and accommodation exceeded our expectations, and we would happily return for another relaxing break.

The main disappointment during our stay was the food and dining experience. On Sunday evening, we ordered dinner and experienced a significant delay before our meals arrived. When the food was finally served, it was cold, and we had to ask for it to be reheated. Unfortunately, the quality of the food itself was also below expectations. The taste was disappointing, and the presentation lacked the standard we would expect from a hotel of this quality. This was particularly noticeable because the accommodation and leisure facilities were otherwise excellent. We feel that improving the food quality, presentation, and service speed would greatly enhance the overall guest experience and bring the restaurant up to the same high standard as the spa, gym, pool, and lodge accommodation.

We loved using the pool and other facilities the most but just everything was perfect for our stay we definitely will be back but for longer next time so highly recommend it's all worth it and it was the best hotel we have ever stayed for sure staff was lovely and always on hand If you ever need any help with anything thank you for having us 😊

No local shops we had too travel pretty much nearly half hour too a supermarket but regardless we still had the perfect stay..

The restaurant took ages to get meals out, often having to ask if food was on its way

The bed was lumpy need new mattress on the bed we stayed in the Mearhaven suit and fire alarm went off at 7am rude awakening this isn’t the first time we’ve stayed it’s happened before too Shane

Room had aircon, a large TV and included shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom

Bedroom window looked onto an internal courtyard where the site restaurant was, which was fine, but meant that the room never really got dark at night even with the blind down due to the lights on downstairs. They could definitely do with adding some curtains in addition to the blind. At time of booking id been given the option to select a double room or twin. I'd selected double, but this was actually two single beds attached together with a sheet put over the top, which was disappointing.
