St Elmo Hotel

Breakfast wasn't included in my stay, even though it stated on booking .com, that it was, wasn't bothered though, as there was a macdonalds a couple of minutes walk away. The view wasn't too bad.

When we first arrived, the room had a few tiny flies in the room, the window was open, a bit, and when my daughter first opened the curtain to look out, she was greeted by a rotting dead seagull or other bird, on the ledge, just under the window, so that freaked her out. I think that needs to be dealt with. Get someone up there and get rid, because it's not a nice sight, and I don't know if the flies were coming from that, into the room, so of course, bacteria concerns are with that. Other than that, I'd still go back, if that was dealt with.

Broken shower valve, no hot water at all, staff says they'll take care of it on 3 occasions, never even showed up at room, room would have been acceptable, if shower was in any way functional. Staff just seemed to ignore the problem. I feel given the circumstances I should have been offered a refund. I even left a day early, not being able to shower. I have never written a negative review before, but feel compelled to warn others to stay away from this place.

I left Saturday morning, no water, in room,shower and taps was broke 😢, I was booked in until Sunday no one about to get it sorted ,

Nothing at all apart from good location

The staff wasn't helpful, no water at all since the 1st night we got there. Mentioned it to the staff/owner and said he couldn't help us.
