Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room. Good breakfast. Hotel provides good base for overnight stay when picking up or dropping off at Heathrow.

Squeaky floorboards that go with such an old property. Leaking radiator only spotted in the morning and only because of soaking wet carpet

An absolute hidden gem, great place to stay with a perfect location for us visiting Legoland. The young lad working in the bar was excellent and went above and beyond to accomodate us and our kids and make sure we had a good stay.

Our room had a power cut and we were left for quite a while in the dark with a 4 year old, before being moved. However once we were moved, the garden room was lovely.

This hotel is in a beautiful setting. The staff are well trained in the art of looking after guests.

Please remember this is a 16 th Century property and cannot be compared to a new marble and glass skyscraper. I have no complaints but I would suggest that they should accelerate there maintenance program and get the external paintwork done and touch up the interior here and there. It’s a beautiful building.
