"Affordable Luxury, Fabulous Hotel and Grounds."

We loved the fact that we could have a bit of luxury and bring our Dog, the bed was superb, the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly, to top it all it was affordable for us to enjoy as when it came up on booking.com I couldn't believe there was a room for our budget and we could bring our dog.

No fridge, would have been handy to have one for our drinks / milk as we were there for two nights. Large step down from shower with no hand rail.

"Very good, bar the bar entrance."

There was nothing to dislike other than below.

The steps down to the bar from the terrace are too steep and dangerous. It definitely needs a handrail at the very least

"We didn’t stay long. We looked at our room and left! With a refund."

The outside was nice.

The room was not clean. Mud in the chair, wallpaper torn off, stains on the table snd curtains. We were told our room would have a bath but didn’t. When we asked for a room with a bath , there were none left.
