Good central location with parking

The place was generally a bit tired. On entry you get the vibe of some dodgy taxi office. We were given a room key by someone who as a matter of coarse told us he wasn’t responsible for the condition of the room! This was before we had seen the room! The room was quite clean where it counted but in need of a lick of paint. Corridors smelled like they needed a deep clean. That said I had a good sleep and it was the cheapest place I could find. 1 bath towel between us.

Two minor things I didn’t get the chance to inform staff over. Was in Room 9. Light bulb needed changing and shower was boiling hot and I seemed unable to cool it down. That might have been me using it but something worth checking on.

The staff are amazing. The new owners are great. Very accomodating. There was a guest staying who was creating trouble for the hotel. They handled this fantasticly. We were moved rooms. A complimentary drink at the bar whilst this was sorted out. They even gave me my partner and 3 year old daughter a lift to asda and back so we could collect a few things for our stay as we were late checking in.

The second night the bar was rather loud until late this did distirb myself and my partner. My daughter was unphazed and slept through. But i believe it was the first official night of opening the bar for the new owners so it may have been a one off.

la personne qui a fait le checkin était difficilement compréhensible et alcoolisée. la chambre était bruyante et pas très propre, la salle de bain sale et la douche ne fonctionnait pas correctement et ne sortait que de l'eau bouillante
